My research focuses on the nosology, epidemiology, comorbidity, and treatment of pathological gambling disorder (PGD). I am developing and testing the diagnostic gambling assessment (GAM/C-GAM) that cross-classifies PGD according to DSM-III, III-R and IV and ICD-10. Other datasets include clinical validation tests of GAM spin-off assessments, and gambling treatment data. Other research includes methodological issues in the inclusion of vulnerable populations in research and treatment efforts.
